Quick question…Are you slouching right now? Well, let’s be honest, sitting at a desk for long periods of time – It’s hard not to slouch.

Your core is the backbone of your body; it contains muscles you might not be aware exist.; it drives all sorts of tasks that you may not even realize we rely on it, from standing up or sitting down for hours at work to turning around or even putting on your shoes.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend – this saying is also applicable to our pelvic floor.
Our pelvic floor looks like a diamond. To give you a better visual, your spine is one point of the diamond. Across it is your pelvic bone. Your muscles end up making a diamond shape.
You might not be tapping into the optimal function of your pelvic floor. However, one of the best ways to understand the relationship between your pelvic bone and your posture and having a strong core is a zipper. The zipper starts from your pelvic floor, up to the lower belly, and stops at the top of your head.
Everything in your body is connected; hence everything you do affects it all.
