Look, we all have days where we’ve struggled. Well, unless you’re a unicorn! No offense, my unicorn friends. But to those of us who aren’t rockin’ a shiny iridescent horn, listen in!
Studies show that 85% of our population suffers or has suffered from low self-esteem.
With low self-esteem, we know anxiety can definitely play a big role. The global numbers of diagnosed anxiety are 284 million people. Those numbers are only the individuals who’ve actually been recorded.
Study and research also continue to say that those numbers aren’t doing anything but climbing.
Look, social media and other factors can do a number on your self-confidence.
Just as soon as you think you got things in the bag, your buddy releases a new widget, becomes a bazillionaire, cures world hunger, buys an island, you know what I mean. Whatever it is to make you second guess your success.
Success coach Kevin Nehai is chatting with me about how he’s used his own struggles with overcoming personal issues — from battling a chronic illness, anorexia, to overcoming anxiety and depression to a thriving speaker and entrepreneur.
Look, you’re unstoppable sometimes; we just need a reminder of just how unstoppable we are.
Running a business and organizing your time can sometimes be more stressful than working a traditional job for an employer. We tend to work longer hours, affecting work-life balance, such as self-care, proper sleeping habits, healthy habits, and sleep patterns.
So, of course, it’s no surprise as entrepreneurs, we are more susceptible to anxiety and depression. If you are a business owner or thinking about starting a business, this show is a must-listen!
