Winning in Sales as an Introvert

You Can Win in Sales as an Introvert!

Sales is a barrier for many of us, especially introverts, that seems too daunting to get over. But today – we’re going to embark on a journey to conquer sales and the fears we have that come with it. In today’s episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast, Episode 44, We’re joined by Tyler Archer, who is a sales growth coach, helping entrepreneurs, business owners, and coaches create strategies that work.

He has taken business from zero to multi-million dollars in sales. And he was able to do all of that while being an introvert. When it comes to sales, introverts and even those who are more extroverted can find it difficult. Sales can be heavy, with KPIs and quotas, BUT it can also be a great way to connect with people.

What most people don’t tell you about sales is that long-lasting success is heavily dependent on the relationships you build with people; a tip is to not be afraid to follow up and focus on the other person more than talking about yourself. With that, you create more value in business. Every business will claim they’re the best at a certain thing. However, what really creates value is the little things.

Since value is subjective, it could be how efficient you are at getting back to request, or it could be something about your website. It boils down to the fact that people want to feel valued, and you can give them that by meeting their expectations.

How Do You Use Social Media Leverage Without Burnout?

We all know how social media can really boost your business and services – but there’s always so much going on. It’s easy for us to get lost with all the new trends and strategies, and in turn, we can experience burnout. Creating content and increasing your presence is a full-time job – but you should also figure out what you want to do in the long run.

Key Takeaways When You Feel Like Giving Up

Here are 2 things you can do when you feel like giving up!

  1. Reflect on what you’ve achieved. Have you celebrated yourself?
    • We tend to forget our small wins and achievements. Make sure you give yourself credit for your progress.

      2. Think about your longer-term goal. What do you want from your life?

Reflect if what you’re doing is something that you actually want to do, especially years down the road. Consider what your next goal is and what you can do to bridge that gap. Remember that your goal and what you determine as your success is based on you, not the people around you or what you see online.
